Isn’t he a doll? We’re still not sure about the name though, so we may just keep calling him “Wolf”, as the breeder named him originally. For some reason, the name felt like a more important issue before I actually got the dog. Now it doesn’t seem like such a big deal.
He had an upset tummy on Tuesday, which got me really panicked. We were about to head to the vet hospital when he finally started eating and drinking again around 5PM. Poor little thing. I think maybe this major life change caught up with him. He’s doing really well now though. I can tell by his behavior that he’s starting to settle nicely. He’s also paying more attention to me and what I tell him. You can always sense a connection growing with a dog when they start looking at your face more, trying to decipher facial expressions. He’s an absolute angel. So well behaved and quiet and calm. He’s even doing well around the cat. They both still need time to get more used to each other, but so far, it’s going quite well. They slept at about a meter from each other on Tuesday evening. The next step will be to have both running around peacefully in the living room. So far, they’ve only been around each other while the dog was calmly sitting in the couch or on my lap. So, having him with all 4 paws on the floor while the cat is roaming around will probably be a different dynamic. *fingers crossed*
